Directplay on Windows 10

Okay thanks ! Sorry for noob question but how do I reinstall Windows easily

I believe that depends on what kind of installing kit you have. I bought an USB. You can also download it from Microsoft and follow the instructions. I'm not a system engineer/admin so I can't tell you all the steps you need to follow. I do the same. Boot the computer from the USB with Windows and follow those instructions.

I know some computers come with the Windows installing files already on them, on a separate partition. I may be wrong and if someone else is more familiar with this please correct me. You will also need to follow the instructions there. I believe you need to press F8 right after computer starts and you should find an option there that would say Install Windows (not sure, again... please correct me, someone. I never installed Windows this way :) ).

ps: make sure your version of Windows is legit.

why not just go to settings and have it do a complete reinstall?

if you had a USB installation then you have to get the latest build update which might disable it again which is why i posted that Youtube video...

If you can't do it this method then you need to have an admin user account. and you dont have access to it... depending on your situation.

Thanks buddy I did it today and it worked . I'm able to play old games now . It turned on directplay after all the other crazy crap I tried . Windows 10 is awful.
