Paul, Thank you for responding, but that doesn't really answer the question, people require this for windows 10, unlike some people on here I actually don't mind windows 10 and find it very usable, but what I do mind is being told that the £1000 pounds plus i've spent on games over the last 20 years has just been thrown down the bog creating a very expensive collection of coasters. With every iteration of windows I have bought I have been able to use those games( I only did 95,98,xp and then 7) and up until last year I was still able to play those games. I understand MS reasoning behind it but unless they offer a viable solution they will continually isolate people and breed this hatred towards there monopolistic attitude(might I suggest you get an Apple PR guy to help with this :-P ). Now back on point a lot of these publishers are no longer around to reach out to or have been swallowed by larger companies who don't acknowledge ever taking on that companies titles...Micropose...anyone. There are a large portion of society like myself who you know what don't want to play there favourite game online with millions of others, I actually like being able to play single player games Starlancer, MW series, these were not realistically online games but had that great single player campaign( I know its not a great business model but I love these old games not available anymore). Basically not being able to play them because of the loop whole DRM and SecDRV present to your system wasn't my problem until you have now made it my problem by denying me something I have bought at the counter, and before you reply with try admin rights and compatability mode - lets be honest there about as much use as a chocolate fireguard purely because of this drm secdrv business.. Thanks for your time and I look forward to your response( I shall not be holding my breath though) and I would like to offer you a challenge-provide a fix for windows 10 users-**** even sell it because you could guarantee one customer...me
Here, here.
I could not have put it better, without resorting to vulgarity.
Whilst I may not have spent quite as much as you appear to have, nevertheless I am very annoyed that the add-ons in particular for what was a Microsoft product - Microsoft Flight Simulator X (Deluxe Version) cannot be loaded onto my new PC which I have had to invest in following the failure of my old machine.
Please, please Microsoft let us have a fix for the SecDRV issue.
