We are monitoring the feedback and are looking for possibilities to further improve the touch functionality. It would be helpful to have more detailed descriptions on in what situations / use cases does the touch screen not work as expected.
If the software update and instructions given here did not help, at the moment the only other advice I have would be to take the phone to a Care service point for further investigation.

Gud Morning. I have already submitted my lumia 535 to care service point(Gaya, india). They say they will send the set to L3 further investigation. I wud be hoping for replacement because It has been really very frusting experience. I have not used the set properly yet. Please do the needful.
Dear I have submitted my lumia 535 to Care center too, in Italy, but I can share with you more details: In my lumia, I disabled zoom and updated the phone to the last firmware (the one reported on this page). I found out that the touchscreen performances in the middle of the screendid improve, but at the top and bottom edges the situation was unchanged. This shows up a lot when tiping: sometimes when pressing a letter another one is sensed, and this does not depends from "not pressing the center of the letter" as the one sensed is very far and sometimes freezes itself as if tapped continously. I disabled wordflow but the situation did not improve either.
The last important thing is that the touch menu does not have a sentitivity setting, so it's impossible to change this parameter as some users here have suggested. In mu personal opinion, it's as if the screen lacks isolation, and when taping/multitouching it undergoes some dielectric discharge...
I hope my description can help in understanding the issue and to have some good news soon.
Ps: in the IT forum, a microsoft employee said that your team is working to solve the issue. Did it means a new update will be released?

Hi, Mr Armagon. I m from Pakistan. I have Lumia 535 Dual SIM (RM-1090) and updated the OS to 8.10.14226.359 and firmware to 02055.00000.14511.220002, the Touch screen performance got some improvements, can easily switch my mobile data connection on or off in the action centre and install phone updates more easily by scheduling them for a time that works best for me but idont get Cortona in it.
