we have started rolling out a new software update for Lumia 535 (RM-1089) & Lumia 535 Dual SIM (RM-1090 & RM-1092) in selected countries.     My questions are

    1. Is the problem is a hardware related? If hardware related then how can we resolve it.
    2. Why you do not test this phone in your lab for test the touch issue?

    I hope the problem will get solved soon.

    When the update will be available in Bangladesh?

    Please do it as quick as possible. we are suffering from touching issues. We can not text.

    My view is that is a hardware problem. Because I have seen some videos related to this and it shows that the problem still remains in the phone after update.

    So please say what should we do except waiting?

    Hi guys, 

    For those who are still having touch screen issues after the recent SW update, have you verified if your phones' system apps have been updated as well especially the one for touch? To confirm it, go to Settings > swipe to applications > store > check for updates. This is one of the first things to check after updating the phone's software. After this, monitor your devices and see if there will be improvements.

    For those asking about the availability of the update in certain countries, we can't provide any date of release. However, there's nothing to worry about as your phones will get an alert once the update is available. Note that its availability will still depend on the region, on the phone's variant, and on the operator's approval.     I am from Bangladesh. I got the update last night. But I am getting the touch issue still now and actually it is not solved. Especially when I try to swipe the screen from left to right or bottom to top. It's become horrible when the phone is being charged. :( 

    This is Microsofts first phone. I don't deserve it from a giant company. Depressed...

    I'm from Viet Nam. My Lumia 535 still has touch problem after update on 23/12/2014. Really, really bad touch screen.

    Before and after update, I can't do anything with option "Touch" in "Settings". I see the screen only splash then quiet. Nothing's happened.
