I was able to catch a slow motion video of my game minimizing at the specific time it does, every hour at minute 58, and was able to somewhat see what was opening up. It was Microsoft Office. Hard to make out but could clearly see Microsoft and Office in the box that popped up. I uninstalled Office and so far I have had no more minimizing. Games or any applications. Hope this helps.
Windows 10 minimizing any games automatically at random times
Hi,
Since I installed Windows 10, all my games minimize at random times, I don't have anything else open. It happens with Steam games, as well as games not in steam, like Guild Wars 2 for example. It is so annoying, sometimes I am playing PvP tournament and the game minimize :(
This is happening in all games that I have installed right now:
-Terraria (steam)
-MKX (steam)
-Guild Wars 2
Also I found out that is not happening just in games, sometimes while I am browsing the internet too. I use Chrome to browse.
Did some research on the internet and I found some solutions, but none did work for me. What I did so far and didn't work:
-Disabled Internet Explorer 11 (Edge?).
-Set my Nvidia GPU to single display performance.
-Deactivated Windows Defender.
-Deactivated OneDrive.
My previous version of windows was 8.1, and I never had this issue before. It is only happening since I upgraded to windows 10. Also, to make it clear, the installation was clean, only files/documents were saved from 8.1. to 10. The rest I installed my self, like steam, the games I mentioned above and my GPU drivers.
Please help.

2017-06-02T22:32:59+00:00 It has nothing to do with games. I thought so too at the beginning, even made 3 pc scans and uninstalled all browsers before starting to search for help online.
I had my PC just open on desktop, no windows whatsoever open and then I saw this "app" or "window" or w/e you want to call it appear for 1 sec and disappear. Tracking this will be near to impossible imho because it could be any number of things.
Either we are all being hacked and monitored or,
Win 10 has been allowing random apps running wild with their permissions after the latest update *mind you i have disabled anything from running in the background, still didn't help*.
And no, it has nothing to do with where you were clicking. I saw these popups just randomly appear more than three times while i was just walking inside my room. No touchy touchy on mouse or keyboard, no anything.
Hope that will help the people @microsoft get some insight to what is going on.
It was, and remains to this day annoying AF.
Thanks for your time.

2017-05-30T20:06:23+00:00 I'm a newb, what do you mean cracked idm? Is that internet download manager? Also could this have something to do with the fact that I can't download things now? Is my IDM bad?!
By download things I mean stuff like mods or maps for games, they say they start but nothing ever downloads. This started about the same time games started to randomly minimize. Can't be just a coincidence can it?
