Windows 10 minimizing any games automatically at random times

It is very simple my friends.. may be I am late here but I know the trouble maker. 

It is a program installed on your computers known as Windows 10.

All you have to do is uninstall it .. go back to Win 7 (if not Win XP) and install your games and everything will be fine.

 Microsoft is absolutely aware of this issue and it does not make a difference for them because majority (more than 99%) of the users will not install another OS or downgrade to Win 7 .  If it was a Windows Server issue i.e. Business Issue , then they will force their geeks to find a solution but it is not a business critical thing (money) so simply ignore it ...

For those of you who are seeing a small icon appear, it's probably Windows Powershell that is appearing and minimizing the game you are playing. It happens to me twice in a short duration every few hours.

I found that deactivating this helped with my problem by doing -> Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Turn windows programs on and off -> Scroll to Windows Powershell and uncheck it. -> Press OK.

This still causes my games to minimize, but caused it to only happen once instead of twice in a row. I underlined both that appear for a brief second and found it could also be the Command Processer as well. (A.K.A. Command Prompt) I would also check your own task manager to see if anything pops up from time to time for a brief duration, because this is what helped me spot this problem in the first place. It may take a while, but your problem may show itself this way.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this. I hope this helps as many people as possible find the problem, as this isn't acceptable to let it go unanswered beyond any means.

Because it's so inconsistent, I'm going to try to keep an eye on it and reply back if uninstalling either of these needless programs solves the problem.

I found a solution:

The Microsoft Office is the responsible for this.

To fix this:

1. Open Task scheduler
2. look in left column and Select the little arrow next to Task Scheduler library - this should reveal the layers below it.
3. Click little arrow next to Microsoft Folder

Click little arrow next to Officeand in the right column, search for OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration task and disable it.

IN some cases it helps to disable OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerLogon as well

I had the same issue while playing games. As someone who streams their games and have it minimize during a game was getting out of hand. However, after some searching around figured out that the little window that pops up for a split second was not a virus or malware running, but has to do with Microsoft Office.

The window that pops up is called "officebackgroundtaskhandler.exe"

The one that runs every hour is called "OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration"

You could disable it by following these steps to see if it helps you. Just make sure to check that Microsoft Office is running smoothly afterwards.

Windows > (type in) Task Scheduler

Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Office

Find "OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration"

Right-click > Disable

If you do not want to disable, but instead want to keep the window from popping up:

Windows > (type in) Task Scheduler

Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Office

Find "OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration"

Right-click > Properties > "General" > Click "Change User or Group"

Type "system" > Click "OK"
