Update not needed error when trying to update to Internet Explorer 11.

AT: Windows uptade, i see TXT Update not needed when i click on install, WTH???.

Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3025390) when i click on install it says update not needed, not needed or is something wrong with Win Updater? or did servers give signal to my PC that its no longer needed, i ask cause its first time when i see something like this

& then comes this

& then when i open Win updater again the update is still there

next day it installed

Your replies to this thread have confirmed that KB3008923 is, in fact, installed.

If Windows Update continues to offer KB3008923, just hide it ("Don't show me this update again").

If you run a manual check for updates today (i.e., 24 or 25 January 2015) and no updates are offered, ignore the "a Windows update did not install properly" error dated 03 December 2014.

    i doesn't seem like i have, but sins then i haven't had any updated neither, after the one that updated after reboot, "WindowsUpdateFailure2" started at 3Dec & in that time from 3 to today i had 1 win update before the one that installed after reboot, what did not install before reboot (maybe software conflict that causes false reports?), manual check for updates works fine, i doesn't find any cause there are none

    i have 1 question about spybot, if it finds junk what threat level is green its pointless to delete?, windows clean that stuff itself? things u see here, well its not all, but i figured it would be harder to read if i make it larger

    Forget about the "WindowsUpdateFailure2" event & all previous errors/events.

    Are you having any problems now installing updates or running a manual check for updates?  [YES/NO]

    so even WindowsUpdateFailure2 error could be that win is searching update for McAfee (or something like that)? is that what u mean? that's the other error i mentioned before
