Update not needed error when trying to update to Internet Explorer 11.

AT: Windows uptade, i see TXT Update not needed when i click on install, WTH???.

Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB3025390) when i click on install it says update not needed, not needed or is something wrong with Win Updater? or did servers give signal to my PC that its no longer needed, i ask cause its first time when i see something like this

& then when i open Win updater again the update is still there

next day it installed

Your replies to this thread have confirmed that KB3008923 is, in fact, installed.

If Windows Update continues to offer KB3008923, just hide it ("Don't show me this update again").

If you run a manual check for updates today (i.e., 24 or 25 January 2015) and no updates are offered, ignore the "a Windows update did not install properly" error dated 03 December 2014.

got it, but its not about shut down options, more like issue with sidebar, there are days where it wont open with mouse, but i found out shortcut key Win+C, maybe i make topic about it, if there is point, like if its fixable issue, also it seems small issue, i posted about it here just in case i don't find info about its shortcut key

If no updates are offered when you run a manual check for updates, ignore the error.

u know that thing on desktop what appears when u move mouse right up corner (side bar or what it is called?), where u have pc settings & option to shut down PC, it dose not open...

You can begin a new thread about your Shut Down options (or lack thereof) in the Performance forum.

I am no longer monitoring this thread.
