Nokia 301 ask: access control code

Hi

I got a used Nokia 301 single simcard phone. The phone ask "Enter access control code" when i turn on.

Without simcard phone works. With this code *#0010# i see this:

I asked Telenor online support what is this code but they did not answered to me :(

I tried pin code, nokia security code (12345), IMEI number, produsct code but does not work. Hard reset works but does not help.

So, phone network is Telenor Hungary, my simcard is belong to Telenor Hungary too. What is wrong? What is this "access control code"? Where can i find it? How can i get it?

    Vodafone should have that phone still in their records. In Hungary, you have to give a lot of details while registering a SIM. Ask your friend for an informal invoice issued by himself stating that he gave the phone to you. Not sure if that works with Hungarian laws – would work in my country. Actually in my country, the phone is unlocked whoever possesses the phone. Just telling that, because I am not aware of any trick to unlock a Nokia Series 40 based phone like yours. However, if you entered to many unlock codes already, the phone must go for authorised service to unlock (just) the unlock counter. Then, you go back to Vodafone HU to unlock the SIM-Lock.

    Vodafone says that they won't do or say anything before I show the invoice of the phone. (I've got the phone from a friend, who doesn't have the papers any more.) They also said, that it might be the case that the phone was locked to one specific SIM card, but since I can't prove that I'm the legal owner of the phone, they can't say more. We haven't tried it with the original SIM card, because the aim was to use the phone with my SIM card.

    Thank you for your answer. It's not that important, so don't waste your time with it. I was just curios if kisvukk70 has found a solution or not.
