Unable to post Comments in the MSN News Section

Two other people have asked the question as to why their Comments in the News Section of MSN do not post, they just remain in the Comment box.  I'm having the same problem and it started about 4 or 5 days ago.  Before that I was able to post comments.  I see 2 other people are complaining about the same issue.  I'm on a MAC and using Safari (which has not been a problem in the past).  Is it possible that MSN has put a BLOCK on our accounts denying us the ability to comment? Is it possible that MSN has put a BLOCK on our accounts to stop our ability to post? If that's the case we should be notified.

It appears that, evidently, MSN has no reason (idea) as to why this is happening and no resolution.

I use Firefox, and when I read MSN news topics, there isn't an option to Comment facility any more,

I have been a regular contributor of comment on various topics, and now feel I'm being silenced by the media !!!

Actually, I think MSN has a deal with Fakebook somehow.  Only way you can make a comment, is to be on Fakebook...not a typo by the way.

I am on facebook so I would have thought that the issue would have been resolved since for years I was having no iisses commenting - wondered if MSN locked me out but if that was true why can I write comment, update, revise and "like" or reply on other folks  comment but I have had folks go in and none of my comments appear to anyone apparently except me - very strange

It's called a "shadow ban". It sounds like something really cool out of James Bond, but it's really just an underhanded way of dealing with people. I don't know whether to attribute this to nefarious motives on the part of Microsoft, or simple incompetence. It could be either, really, and since I won't join Zuckerberg's little "LOOK AT ME!!" cult, I guess I'll never know.

When I want to comment on news stories, I just go to Fark.com, where I have my own log-in that doesn't require a Facebuck membership. It's also a lot more fun than any news site comments section I've ever seen.

I see people are still upset about this MSN comment section and trying to figure out what the problem is....I gave up along time ago.  Like you,   not on Facebook.

I took a look at Fark.com,  not sure about it, but might try again.  That was about a year ago.

Is Zuckerberg the creator of Facebook...?   That's how little I know about the site.

Thanks for replying to my post before it was deleted. I wonder if whoever deleted it has ever heard of "irony".
