PS: before you run CMD sfc /scannow go to the CBS log and delete it.  Then run CMD sfc /scannow.  That way there the log will not be so full.

I cannot understand why copy and paste CBS log will not allow you to open it!!!!!

Anyhow, open Command Prompt elevated mode copy or type:

    notepad c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log

    and press enter

PS: If you are still going down the uninstall printer road try this fixit:

https://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/en?wa=wsignin1.0  Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled

Maybe you could try a new account and see what is in devices and printers

Yes, I do not think this is a printer problem. It is a Windows issue. Have you done a CMD sfc /scannow yet?
