Nokia 808 Windows 10 USB drivers

This is probably a lost cause at this point, but I've upgraded to Windows 10 and my 808 no longer connects via USB o Bluetooth. There appears to be some sort of driver issues, as in device manager there are multiple 808 and MTP entries with the exclamation mark. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers does nothing.

Any suggestions short of finding a Windows 8 computer and using that?

I contacted Microsoft's mobile group on Facebook about this issue, and they suggested that I reinstall the cable driver.  Tried that and...almost got it to connect.  I got to thinking that if it's the cable driver that's not working right, maybe I should try to connect without a cable.  I grabbed my little Bluetooth kernel and plugged it into my laptop and...SUCCESS!!!  I was able to sync my day-to-day stuff (pics, contacts, text messages) with no problem.  I tried to backup my phone with the suite and it went REALLY slowly, but it worked (I backed up my phone a week or so before updating to Win10, so I wasn't really too concerned about not finishing the backup today).

So, if you have a way to connect to your computer by Bluetooth, give it a try and it /should/ work to connect to Nokia Suite.  I still want to resolve this issue with the cable connectivity, though, as much out of principle as it is out of convenience.  Bugging the hell out of me...

    I also can confirm, my Nokia N8-00 can be connected via USB Cable with the Nokia-Suite after the new anniversary Version 1511 was installed.

    I tested it with my Nokia N8-00 after reading the message above.

    I just plugged it in with an USB Cable and the Nokia-Suite popped up.

    Problem solved, after we only had to wait for more than one year.

    Good news. The WIndows 10 anniversary update has resolved this problem for me too. Though I have had to connect my Nokia 700 by Bluetooth to Nokia Suite since getting WIndows 10, I have continued to use the USB to charge the phone. For the last couple of days I have had a message when connecting the phone to say that the USB connection had failed. I then got the message to restart my pc after the WIndows 10 update. Last night when plugging my partner's phone into the USB I got the same error message. I tried another USB slot and the phone was recognised. I tried my Nokia 700 and Nokia Suite opened up automatically with full function !!! The USB cable was not recognised in it's original slot however when I rebooted the pc and checked the USB cable in its new slot still worked and that Nokia Suite operated I then moved the USB cable back to it's original slot and all is ok. Interestingly I have had the same problem with a Fuji camera which Windows 10 would not recognise in relation to its software and I had to remove the SD card in order to access the photos. I tried this last night and the camera is recognised and the Fuji software works as it should. So obviously some if not all of the driver issues have been resolved. I hope the same applies to all of you too.

    after Win10 Anniversary Update, it was probably resolved in a funky way:

    The previous general update removed HUAWEI staff. I had to install all again.

    Now i see HUAWEI Mobile Connect is here "replacing" Nokia Connectivity Cable and NATIVE Nokia 808 PureView USB Modem 8-) !!!
