Nokia 808 Windows 10 USB drivers

This is probably a lost cause at this point, but I've upgraded to Windows 10 and my 808 no longer connects via USB o Bluetooth. There appears to be some sort of driver issues, as in device manager there are multiple 808 and MTP entries with the exclamation mark. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers does nothing.

Any suggestions short of finding a Windows 8 computer and using that?

I contacted Microsoft's mobile group on Facebook about this issue, and they suggested that I reinstall the cable driver.  Tried that and...almost got it to connect.  I got to thinking that if it's the cable driver that's not working right, maybe I should try to connect without a cable.  I grabbed my little Bluetooth kernel and plugged it into my laptop and...SUCCESS!!!  I was able to sync my day-to-day stuff (pics, contacts, text messages) with no problem.  I tried to backup my phone with the suite and it went REALLY slowly, but it worked (I backed up my phone a week or so before updating to Win10, so I wasn't really too concerned about not finishing the backup today).

So, if you have a way to connect to your computer by Bluetooth, give it a try and it /should/ work to connect to Nokia Suite.  I still want to resolve this issue with the cable connectivity, though, as much out of principle as it is out of convenience.  Bugging the hell out of me...

    What the firmware version on your nokia?

    It is Belle 111.040.1511

    what is the operative system of your older notebook ?

    It is Windows 10, Insider build 10586.

    The newer notebook has Windows 10, build 10240

    I used  these instructions and now I can connect my N8 by USB cable to PC with window 10.

    Everything works, connect your nokia to pc,go to device manager-ports-NOKIA USB SERIAL PORT-Right click-deactivate (NOT "Delete), then modems-NOKIA USB Modem-Right click-deactivate, disconnect phone and,restart PC if needed. Your  PC Suite already Works 98% (sync,backup,galery). To add another "%" for usb modem you have to download HUAWEI app "Mobile Partner" and install it,connect your nokia to pc, go to modems-NOKIA USB Modem-Right click-update driver -manually-from already installed-uncheck-HUAWEI INCORPORATED--HUAWEI MOBILE CONNECT 3G MODEM-"yes" and disconnect cable immediately-then modems-NOKIA USB Modem-Right click-activate. Injoy. Don't Forget in modem propertyes add initialization command.

    The same here for the Nokia E-52. Worked like a charm on Windows 7 Professional (64 bit). After the upgrade to Windows 10 Professional (64 bit) the USB cable driver does not seem to function. This is sad because from a business perspective it is easier to write and copy many SMS messages with Nokia Suite or Ovi and have the device backed-up. I don't want to have to go to the limited accu runtimes of those large touchscreen Android devices, because the USB cable driver is not working.
