Nokia 808 Windows 10 USB drivers

This is probably a lost cause at this point, but I've upgraded to Windows 10 and my 808 no longer connects via USB o Bluetooth. There appears to be some sort of driver issues, as in device manager there are multiple 808 and MTP entries with the exclamation mark. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers does nothing.

Any suggestions short of finding a Windows 8 computer and using that?

I contacted Microsoft's mobile group on Facebook about this issue, and they suggested that I reinstall the cable driver.  Tried that and...almost got it to connect.  I got to thinking that if it's the cable driver that's not working right, maybe I should try to connect without a cable.  I grabbed my little Bluetooth kernel and plugged it into my laptop and...SUCCESS!!!  I was able to sync my day-to-day stuff (pics, contacts, text messages) with no problem.  I tried to backup my phone with the suite and it went REALLY slowly, but it worked (I backed up my phone a week or so before updating to Win10, so I wasn't really too concerned about not finishing the backup today).

So, if you have a way to connect to your computer by Bluetooth, give it a try and it /should/ work to connect to Nokia Suite.  I still want to resolve this issue with the cable connectivity, though, as much out of principle as it is out of convenience.  Bugging the hell out of me...

    If you don't need USB Modem support just delete Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers from Control Panel-Program and Features and install these. Nokia Suite, Phoenix, BEST (BB5 Easy Service Tool) -will work. If you do need use phone as USB Modem then:

    Solution 1)

    (Don't delete Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers!!!) Connect your nokia to pc, go to device manager-ports-NOKIA USB SERIAL PORT-Right click-deactivate (NOT "Delete), then modems-NOKIA USB Modem-Right click-deactivate (and maybe "Portable Devices"(WPD)-deactivate), disconnect phone and restart PC if needed. Your  PC Suite already Works 98% (sync,backup,galery). To add another "%" for usb modem you have to download HUAWEI ( go to here  and download (post#2) Mobile Partner both 1 and 2 parts(it is single file splitted to 2parts)  and install it,connect your nokia to pc, go to modems-NOKIA USB Modem-Right click-update driver -manually-from already installed-uncheck-HUAWEI INCORPORATED--HUAWEI MOBILE CONNECT 3G MODEM-"yes" and disconnect cable immediately-then modems-NOKIA USB Modem-Right click-activate. Injoy. Don't Forget in modem propertyes add initialization command. If you'd like to install Port driver then do same steps but HUAWEI INCORPORATED--HUAWEI MOBILE CONNECT 3G PC UI Interfase.

    Solution 2)

    1. If you got a computer with UEFI you have to disable Secure Boot (just google it).
    2. Admin command prompt run:

    bcdedit -set loadoptions disable_integrity_checks

    64 bit:

    1. Go to here  to do both option 1 and option 2 at one time. Now you can see a small note at right down corner that reads "Windows 10 working in test mode"![](http://fud.community.services.support.microsoft.com/Fud/FileDownloadHandler.ashx?fid=a6384a1e-2210-4528-b52b-886436f10329)

    if it didn't appear then repeat Admin command line: bcdedit -set testsigning on

    And reboot another time via cmd shutdown -r -o And "F7" on boot.

    1. Delete Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers from Control Panel-Program and Features.
    2. Install these drivers (ignore 1st popup and press "allow install" on red notifications).
    3. Connect phone.

    32 bit:

    1) Delete Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers from Control Panel-Program and Features.

    1. Install these drivers (click "allow 2 times you were shown popups).
    2. Connect phone.

    Note: (64bit only) Every times you want use phone as modem repeat "option 2".

    Note (for all) Phone will be flashed by yellow triangle but it is not a bug.

    Is this problem going to be addressed in the Redstone update? I am still not going to update any more machines (3 desktops and 2 laptops) to W10 until I can be sure my E7 will function on all.

    I knew that this update was coming some time in November (didn't know that it had its own codename), and had been holding out hope that it would be addressed when it comes through.  Anybody have any idea what day this big W10 update is supposed to happen?

    Had hoped with every upgrade that my N8 would start working. I had also tried everything possible, without success.

    However, my older Nokia X6 works perfectly in Nokia Suite, even as a modem! So it can't be the USB cable driver, as this driver is installed by Nokia Suite
