Did you install the game from CD/DVD or from Online?

Try installing the game in compatibility mode and check if it helps:

Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the game from the developer website.

b. Right-click on the game setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8.1/7 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

JoeD:  Go to  "sim-outhouse.com".  Click on "Forum".  Click on "CFS3 General Discussion".  Look at first Sticky Thread - Running CFS3 in Windows 10.  Or start a new thread with your problem.  GOOD LUCK!

I had problems with cfs3 in windows 10. I found a solution on u tube which worked I had to install a nocd patch which makes it run without needing the cd. It needs all the updates installed.

There are several good tips and the first one is critical.  I had to do separate installs for each ERA of ETO which took a lot of time.  I gave up on Rising Sun.

Start with a "clean" version and you should be able to fly CFS3 in Windows 10.  GOOD LUCK!
