Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 and Windows 10

icant get Microsoft combat flight simulator 3 to work on windows 10 how can I fix this I love all the micrssoft flight sims got them all but none of then work on 10

How do you get CFS3 to run with Windows 10?

CFS3 did run with Windows 8 and 8.1 but will NOT run with Windows 10.

How do you fix this?

that game came out circa 2002 making it likely use disk checks which are incompatible with Vista and up thanks to a recent security update

You are correct,  CFS3 was released in October 2002.  There are simple "tweaks" that will enable you to use CFS3 with Windows 10, 8 and 8.1.

I have just upgraded to windows10 from windows7 where I had a fully working copy. I have done nothing to the installation, and am interested to find out what you did to get it to work. Could you please help with some info on what to do?

MTV040:  In addition to the "Program Compatibility Troubleshooter" there are other minor tweaks you can do.  Unfortunately I can not discuss this here.  I suggest you visit one of the CFS3 websites to research any problem you may have.  I am sorry that I can not be more helpful.
