I just got the message MSN watchlist is shutting down and cannot import my data and my lists do not show up. I have been using this for many many years and have tons of data. This is so disappointing. I would hope Microsoft is looking into fixing this issue before the deadline of the 22nd.

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2014-12-19T00:56:43+00:00 It appears to be working but my portfolio manager is blank so there really isn't anything to import, is there? All the data disappeared last week. All my investment data for several years has disappeared.

2014-12-19T01:00:38+00:00 Hello again,
While I wait for an update from the product team, have the users who did not get the reimport prompt tried going to Migration Support page and then clicking on Retry Import? Please let me know if that's working or not.
There has also been an update on a KB article addressing the issue with the limit on the number of items that can be imported. You can only import into a Watchlist that has fewer than 250 items. Attempts to re-import lists with more than 250 items will fail.
Thanks,
Adriana
Adriana,
- Retry Import does not appear to work. Throws me to My Watchlist, which displays Watchlist News.
- Are “250 Items” stocks, transactions or the sum of the two?
Thanks,
Arnie Halpern
