Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

The import still does not work.  Is anyone working on this at MSFT?

I have asked this question many times. No response. Microsoft has sunk to a new low.

I have asked this question many times.

Where did you ask it? If it was on these forums, it is usually peer to peer, not Microsoft helping users. (Although sometimes Microsoft does step in)

    Hope this helps!

I've run out of patience. I did manage to get my PM imported to My Watchlist (I snuck in before they took down PM). It continued to give me "some transactions are erroneous" (or whatever the message is) with no indication of which ones are in error. With all the problems people are having, I just don't trust the data. On top of that, My Watchlist is worthless as a portfolio tracker. What a waste of time.

So, I deleted all My Watchlists and moved to Morningstar - not as good as PM, but it'll do. I hate losing my transaction history, but it's all available on my broker's site.

    Best of luck to all.

Smitty, I tried everything including the help desk, on line chat, and all links for Migration that I can find.  The links take me to the RETRY IMPORT screen but it just takes me to the new Watchlist  and nothing imports. I have cleared my browser, have only one empty New Watchlist, and was signed in. But nothing works.  Talked to MSN help at 800 386 5550 but hey would not help because I did not have a paid MSN account.  The chat line just gave me the phone number and no help.  Phone support said to go to the forum. This is a royal run around and many thousnads of people are about to lose very important investment data.  In my case I will loose about 10 years of data.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO MAKE THE IMPORT FROM OLD PORTFOLIO MANAGER TONEW WATCHLIST WORk?
