You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2014-10-02T00:15:02+00:00 My stock accounts in various portfolios imported, but none of my mutual funds did. Why don't mutual funds import? I think the system is extremely cumbersome.

2014-10-02T01:04:08+00:00 Adriana:
I have the same problem as others described here. I'm running Win 7 Pro 64-bit. I have used Portfolio Manager and/or its predecessors for around 15 years. I have 8 accounts with many stocks and mutual funds in each. I have 1 account that I just use as a "watch" list.
I have tried the migration and re-tried it more than a half dozen times. I can successfully migrate the "watch" list with 44 entries and have been able to repeat this. However, none of the other accounts -- or any portion of the transactions in each -- will migrate. In the migration process, I can select all of my accounts for migration and it seems to go through the migration process. No errors are returned. But the accounts do not appear in the new version.
It seems like the new program is vastly simplified and I wonder if it is capable of handling all of the data that could be entered into the old Portfolio Manager. Is this the problem?
I have years of effort into entering and maintaining my data and the idea of losing any of it is very disturbing. From what I have seen on this thread, there are plenty of others experiencing the same thing. Can you determine whether the new software is less capable than the old?

2014-10-02T02:05:07+00:00 Hello:
I tried the steps listed to migrate again. This time I get a different, but still terrible, result. Positions closed long ago are now open. Certain transactions don't show at all. There's no rhyme or reason to the errors. I also agree with the poster who said this new version appears to be very simplistic compared to the old version. I'll take functional over flashy any day.
I can still access the old site (thanks to the person who posted the link). Please do not pull it down until you're 100% certain you can get this right. Lots of folks will lose lots of data if you do.

2014-10-02T05:18:15+00:00 Thank you very very very much for the link to the old Portfolio Manager. Its great to see it again! It seems to be working, but you cant click on the stock symbol to get a detailed quote. MSN should give out the link to give investors access to their data. Thanks again
