Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

I don't want to mess with all this.  I liked my old MSN Portfolio Manager.  I can't get news on my stocks and I don't like the new format and I want to get back where I was.

I did re-import my list as you described. I was able to recover my missing list but the my original default list with my complete data was present as to which stocks and funds I had entered but the holdings were zero for each but two the list.

So it was a partial success but incomplete migration of all the data. Do you suggest trying another migration?

I tried the steps above and they worked in the sense that I was able to retry the import.  I previously had four watchlists in my portfolio.  During the original import, only two of them were visible for importing.  This time, all four were visible for importing, and even though I selected all four for import, only two (the same two) actually imported.  I tried it twice with the same results.
