You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

    Hi Adriana,

    I find that I can now add money market funds to my watchlists. Thank you and the team for that. Is there any way to get a total value for all of the watchlists combined?

    I agree, we do need to get the OLD PM back or at a minimum the new Watchlist should provide the functionality. I have used PM since 2000 and if is gone then I may not even visit MSN. The same apllies to StockScouter. I am surprised someone at Microsoft took the decision to remove functionality without checking on its usage.

    Adriana,

    I was happy to see a post that said money market funds could now be included in the portfolios. Thanks to the team for getting that done. Now I hope they are reading the rest of the posts and working on making this application more than just a watchlist. Everyone who uses portfolio manager is looking for an application that does at least as much. I would like to be able to see all of my accounts on a single page, with a total of all accounts combined, and the ability to print that page as in the old portfolio manager. Also, it is 11:30 PM on Friday and there are still two of my funds that have not updated today's closing price in watchlist but were updated by 7:00 PM in portfolio manager. And once again rounding to 2 decimal places on price and number of shares can be a significant difference in sizable accounts. I'm all for accuracy.

    Thanks again for your efforts in this massive undertaking. It just seems like you're not getting a lot of help. But maybe this is so huge it is going to take quite a long time. Perhaps Microsoft engineers were surprised by the reaction. Do you have any idea how much longer we will have access to portfolio manager? I have noticed that there is no access to news articles since Nov. 6. I'm hoping the team will be working on this for a lot longer and we will be able to access portfolio manager until they have produced a satisfactory alternative. The only reason I have continued with MSN for the past several years is because of the portfolio manager and have not found a better alternative.

    Adriana --  You guys have now restricted access to old portfolio site.  However, new site is STILL not working for me.  While I have imported stocks, I cannot toggle between the various display options such as fundamentals, transactions, etc.,.  Plus, there seems to be no info on my previous transactions.  What happened to them?
