You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

    Not only have I tried everything anyone tells me to do, I have called Microsoft support three times.  They tell me that NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO HELP ON MSN MONEY  WHAT??????????????????????????????????

    This is ridiculous.  I can't get into my money portfolio, and during this horrid stock performance, I have probably lost a ton of money and can't even see how much, can't do anything about it, and can't get any help from MSN.  What kind of a (really) stupid website is this anyway?

    Don't you have anyone smart enough to fix this for us?  When it says just press the import now dropdown, there isn't any import now dropdown, etc. etc. etc. etc. over and over again.

    I have read that Yahoo Finance is good.  Maybe I will have to try to figure out my stocks and go with them.  It's a pain for me though, bcause I have ALL of my stock info in MSN.  That is, date of purchase, dividends, how much I've mde and lost etc.

    i just want stock market numbers but every time says my Market Watch list is not working and there is a problem but over a week.  Why can't just close out and go to Money page?

    I've reimported well over a dozen times & now I finally get all 9 of my portfolios (2 have only 1 Mutual Fund, 1 has 2, 2 have 4, 1 has 5, 1 has 8, 1 has 11 & 1 has 3 stocks--all sold). the only ones that are correct are the ones w/1 holding. Of a $400k portfolio the difference is $13k less than what the old Portfolio Mgr. shows (which is correct). Also the Total ROI is WAAAAY off. What in world is going on w/this!.

    The core of why people use this sight is their PORTFOLIOS! And Microsoft as them TOTALLY SCREWED UP!. Who'd want to go to a financial site that this messed up?  Fix it. Get it right guys or it's GAME OVER!

    I have tried this every way.  Even talked to a man at MSN.  He wanted me to paid to fix this problem.  I want to know why we can't just keep what we had?  I have used the old format from 1999, and this new way does not include the total value of my stocks. Just how much it changed today.  I really don't understand how to work Watchlist.
