Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

Open morningstar portfolio, under line names of portfolio you will see a line tracking, my views, etc..

Click on my view , you will then see views 1 2 3 4 and customize my view, click on this . Say you go to view 1 you will see numerous columns that you can add or remove from any of the 4 views , about a total of 35 different ones. after you add, remove and move columns up or down to your veiw click save on bottom right corner. It's best to add different colums to each of the vies that way all is not in one view  instead your desired info will be seen in 1234 view. Much easier to use this way. If you don't like what you see in a particular go bac to it edit in or out the columns that don't help you or are not what yor locking foe. Be sure to save each time you make changes.

I though I was smart. I must be dense. I followed everything you said. When I hit target/sell I can enter a number in the box, but that's where it ends. I can't enter a sell.  Jack

I assume that you enter, date, shares, price, and commission if necessary.. then at the lower right hand corner ofthe page is save, you must click save for the transaction to become effective..You can also refresh page from popup with right click and choose it from the menu. Then you can go back to the fund or stock on the snapshot page to see if it took. You can also go to the edit popup when you hover your mouse over that stock or fund, click edit, and click buy/sell at top of the area to check all entries. If this is not working try the help or FAGs. If still no answers email Morningstar with problem. they usually answer in a day or so.

I have not had any issues with these ,except while I was teaching myself the workings of Morningstar portfolio. I made plenty of mistakes  but have finally figured most out.
