Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

    Lawrence HW

Thanks for the very thorough message as I too have been struggling for several days and at the end of the quarter; this mess could not have happened at a worse time.  I finally got my portfolio to migrate but it is a mess.  I show holdings that were sold 5-7 years ago.  Further, my screen locks up if I try to click on anything and I get the message that a long running script is running.

It is so evident that Microsoft never tested and their response is pathetic.  Looks like Morningstar.com may be the answer.  Lots of lost data and many keystrokes to try and recover.

    Thank you.

I have done these steps more times than I can count, with no success.  I would like to have the old MSN site back.  This new one is terrible.  Since I probably can't get it back, I JUST WANT TO IMPORT MY OLD PORTFOLIO MANAGER AND HAVE IT WORK LIKE IT DID BEFORE.

Thanks Community -- I'm going to Morningstar.com!  MSN is not worth the frustration.
