You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2015-01-06T07:59:12+00:00 Once you enter the older transactions, clicking is no longer an issue, but I think Morningstar is your new favorite.
I must have done something wrong - all my investments are losing value!! 8)

2015-01-06T16:53:19+00:00 I have not been able to discover why these 2 portfolios (MSN Watchlist and FT Portfolio) do not update to the current pricing soon after end of day.
FT says it is 20 minute behind, while MSN does not say.
At end of day, Friday Jan 2, prices continued to show end of day Dec 31 on both portfolios, as well as on the Financial section on MSN homepage.
I could go to Morningstar, and see the correct end of Jan 2 prices, as well as on the site of the Fund companies. At about 10am on Saturday morning, Jan 3, prices suddenly switched to end of Jan 2 prices on all 3 locations.
End of day Monday, Jan 5, remained end of day Jan 2 prices until about 10am on Tuesday Jan 6.
Throughout the evening of Jan 5 and morning of Jan 6, the price ‘as of Jan 2 0500 GMT’ was clearly shown on FT Portfolio, while MSN Watchlist does not say what price data is shown.
FT also shows when last refreshed, such as 5 minutes ago, but always shows as of 0500 GMT time.
The old MSN Portfolio was always up to date nlt about 6pm Central time every day.
My next step will be to build another Portfolio on Morningstar.

2015-01-06T17:59:08+00:00 Does microsoft even look at or reply to these issues?. What good is it to provide a service if it has no value?. I know its free, but at least you could have saved the money involved in implementing and maintain this new platform that is useless in my opinion. If it was not broke why fix it?
You could have also provided a transaction backup to excell in order to save our transactions in the old MSN portfolio manager.
I willl manually have to enter many years of transactions and determine a beginning of period summary on a new platform.
I will be wary of microsoft products and enhancements in the future.

2015-01-07T02:18:20+00:00 You mean Mutual Funds have been very slow to update in FT.com? Stocks and ETFs seem ok in FT.com. I dont know about MSN, I no longer go there. Mutual funds seem ok in Yahoo.
The last 2 days Mutual Funds didnt update in FT.com until around 10pm pacific time. Today FT.com still shows yesterdays results in the todays value change column. Yesterday FT.com showed zero value change in the todays value change column until it updated around 10pm.
Im unable to see my portfolios total value change for the day because the stock values start dropping off a little before the Mutual Funds finally update.
I hope FT.com is only experiencing temporary difficulties. I will give it a few days before I contact FT.com to see what is going on.
I will stay with FT.com even if its a permanent problem. It has alot of nice features and as previously stated Morningstar is not an option for me. But I really hope this will be fixed!!!
