they removed the database backup/file save capability some years back. However if you want to get your data out to at least have a copy use a product like SnagIt. If you set its capture type to 'advanced' 'custom scroll' you can then scroll the expanded transactions window at the bottom of PM for each stock/fund you have in each portfolio you are monitoring. That will give you a single list of transactions for each security. Hope this helps.

Yes, I know. the last backup I have is from 2007. I didn't know about SnagIt, but I just finish taking screen shots and pasting them into Word (69 pages!). At least I have the transaction records, but I'm not sure what I am going to do with them. So far, I'm not at all impressed with the new Portfolio/Watchlist. I wish there was some way to get our data (of course, MS probably believes it's theirs and the EULA probably says it is).
