My problem is that after at least 30 trys i cannot migrate from MSN Portfolio Manager now called my watchlist by MSN. Hundreds of people have wriiten saying they can't migrate from the old to the new and not one of them has found or been given a solution. I am willing to pay for a good portfolio site the only thing i can discern from the way this has been handled is that MSN just wants to dump the whole system and not have to bother with us. There is nobody to call or ask. Can you just leave the old system in place if the new does not work?

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2014-10-16T14:23:59+00:00 I managed to get my stocks imported and updated in the first few days of the new website, and put them in alpha order. However, now the website has decided alpha order is not desireable and has completely rearranged them in no particular order. I can't change it back - none of the buttons at the top work. Can't reorder, can't add but since I don't want to delete, I haven't tried that button cause heaven forbid that one works and I can't add it back in!

2014-10-16T06:06:53+00:00 Not only have I tried everything anyone tells me to do, I have called Microsoft support three times. They tell me that NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO HELP ON MSN MONEY WHAT??????????????????????????????????
This is ridiculous. I can't get into my money portfolio, and during this horrid stock performance, I have probably lost a ton of money and can't even see how much, can't do anything about it, and can't get any help from MSN. What kind of a (really) stupid website is this anyway?
Don't you have anyone smart enough to fix this for us? When it says just press the import now dropdown, there isn't any import now dropdown, etc. etc. etc. etc. over and over again.
I have read that Yahoo Finance is good. Maybe I will have to try to figure out my stocks and go with them. It's a pain for me though, bcause I have ALL of my stock info in MSN. That is, date of purchase, dividends, how much I've mde and lost etc.
Here is a link to the old Portfolio Manager and its still working. I dont know how much longer it will be will be available. rumour has it until Oct 30th, but I havent seen any confirmation from MSN. Good luck with your stocks (you will need it). http://moneycentral.msn.com/stock_portfolio

2014-10-15T21:37:18+00:00 I have tried this every way. Even talked to a man at MSN. He wanted me to paid to fix this problem. I want to know why we can't just keep what we had? I have used the old format from 1999, and this new way does not include the total value of my stocks. Just how much it changed today. I really don't understand how to work Watchlist.
