My backup plan which i have now been using for about 2 years is with a Company called Fund Manager, i had to pay for it and i have done "double" bookkeeping for the last 2 years but now it looks like a pretty good decision. They can take your old MSN Portfolio Manager which you can still get thru this website http://moneycentral.msn.com/stock_portfolio and copy it to their site so that all your data is good. It is a very robust site and the guy that owns it is very responsive.

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2014-10-16T21:06:45+00:00 Just go to Morningstar and set up a portfolio just by signing up forfree. Much better then MSN Money in all ways. I've dumped MSN Premium since all the confusion. All you get for paying MSN is there browser whose home page is the same as MSN.com and portfolio manager it's not worth it. You keep you email addresses and msn email account just though Outlook for free. Microsoft has screw this up badly and does'nt deserve to be paid for there total screw up.
