Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

I have finally been able to migrate my entire portfolio. I had to remove many closed positions then the totals were correct except some money market funds did not migrate but some did. I can not add new money market accounts. How can money market accounts be added or is there another way to add cash positions? This new PM is worthless to me if I cannot consolidate all of the watchlists into one portfolio with a grand total for all of the watchlists and with a print function.

I have entered my portfolio into Morningstar which does everything I need except I don't like that the consolidated portfolio puts all positions together and I loose the individual accounts. Has anyone found a way to get all the accounts on one page with a grand total in Morningstar?

    Thanks

This morning I tried to reimport my PM and all was successful with your new instructions except you should not name your new files to which you want to import at the new site first before going to the import area.  You should rename them when you ask to reimport and that field comes up with your old file names.  Otherwise it says you already have that name (even though it has nothing in it at the new site).

Anyway, As to the contents of my new import--The totals are correct but the "Buy dates" are still wrong. **Every buy transaction is one day earlier than it was entered in the old PM.  Bizarre!**This happened the first time I imported last month too.

Please allow us to keep the old PM!

If the portfolio was free, what have we been paying for!  I agree the new Watchlist is useless.  Morningstar doesn't equate to the old portfolio manager.  Still can't find one that does.  HELP!
