Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

I tried but it will not let me put the number of shares I have in, and will not tell me the value of what I have, nor how it changes during the day.

I redid my watch list or my old portfolio into the new watch list and it won't let me put any new data into the list.  I can add a stock but I can't add when I bought it or how much.  Pretty useless for a portfolio.  MSN really messed up a good thing.

Mark, on mine I see the following on my new watch list page.  Here is what I had copied.

    My Watch list - 2

    Create New

    Manage watchlist

    SummaryFundamentalsPerformanceTransactions

Under the transactions is where you can enter the amount and when bought.  Not sure if yours is the same as mine, but I would think it should be.

The watchlist will not let me put the number of shares I own in.  It did not import the number either.  How can I put the number in.
