Alas, I don't think any of those other sites are as good as what Microsoft is killing with Portfolio Manager.

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

2014-12-09T02:21:39+00:00 Hello everyone,
I would like to address some of the issues that users have reported regarding the old MSN Money Portfolio Manager not updating content such as Latest News for companies, RSS feeds, etc. As MSN has been updated to a new system, we retired some existing offerings that are being replaced in the new platform and effective October 11, the old MSN site was officially retired. That is why some of the content in the Portfolio Manager is not updating and in some cases users might be getting redirected to the new MSN site.
The product team has not yet retired the existing Portfolio Manager to prevent customers who are unable to import their data from losing access to the data. After issues with importing data from the old Portfolio Manager have been addressed, that site will be retired. In the meantime, please keep reporting any import issues you find.
Thank you,
Adriana
Hi Adriana,
Given the recent notice above the old Portfolio Manager that it will be retired on 12/22/14, I assumed support must have finally fixed the importation of large accounts from the old Portfolio Manager so gave it another try on an account with 800 symbols.
The result was that after almost 3 months of trying, the reimport process finally completed. It did not import any with zero quantity which is fine but did import about 230 of the 800 that did have quantity greater than zero.
The summary page had about 10 blank rows scattered throughout which I removed. While clicking the X did remove them it did not indicate what was being removed. After wards I noticed some of the ones with quantity were no longer there so it may have removed them for some reason and I will need to add them back. Still need to reconcile all the symbols in the new with the old to see what is missing but since it should not be more than 10 that should not be hard to do.
The only remaining issue is the transaction page has the red error at the top:
Some transactions in this portfolio are invalid.
I scrolled down and deleted all the transactions (there were only a few) that had red lines around them indicating they were the problem but the message remains after reloading the page. How am I supposed to fix or delete any remaining invalid transactions when nothing else is highlighted in red to indicate which is the problem and they all look fine?

2014-12-09T00:28:23+00:00 I would like to oblige MS by migrating my portfolio to the new watchlist in order to keep my data. (for the new site is pretty much useless as a portfolio tool).... if only the migration would work!!! I still get mostly garbage when I import mutual funds.

2014-12-08T23:30:04+00:00 Deleted and reimported. One of my accounts comes in incomplete and with old data. It freezes, so I can not change or modify the old or incomplete data. The browser will not recover when refreshed and the site closes. What is going on with this product. It was the best product years ago. I learned to adjust to the downgraded Silverlight version as I could at least easily see my daily totals of all accounts on one page. Now, the new version does not seem to work and does not display totals on one page.
Any recommendations?
