I'm not getting a prompt to import either. Apparently some users are, based on their posts. What could explain why some can and some can't?

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

Have you ever heard "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"????
This new Watchlist is an abominable screw up by MSN!!! Whoever was responsible should be looking for a new job. Give us back the old version with the many options that are no longer available,

2014-12-09T21:56:08+00:00 The import from Portfolio Manager to Watchlists went fairly well, with a few mistakes I'm trying to fix:
My Watchlists are not in the same order as my Accounts were in Portfolio Manager. How do I re-order or sort my watchlists - not the holdings in each one, but the watchlists themselves?
How do I correct the No. of Shares for a stock? I clicked Transactions and corrected the No. of Shares for a stock, then clicked Portfolio Holdings and the change was not carried over.
General impression: The Watchlists are inferior to Portfolio Manager in so many ways. The new interface is clean and neat, but too big and almost useless. Can't display more than one Watchlist at a time and no Grand Total. A summary of all Watchlists, maybe?
Like many others, I'm losing patience and actively looking for a better solution. Though it's doubtful, it would be great if someone acquired the code for Portfolio Manager and implemented it on another web site - I'd even pay a subscription fee.
