Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

At 10:30pm on Jan 6, the FT portfolio continues to have Jan 5 Mutual Fund data.

Do you see this line just below the portfolio summary in Dashboard mode?

'Data delayed at least 20 minutes, as of 05 Jan 2015 05:00 GMT. Last refreshed less than a minute ago'

I wonder why the 05:00 GMT time, London time?   It stays 05:00 all the time.

Last week I sent an email to FT.com requesting they:

    (1) update the US mutual funds more quickly and

    (2) also for mutual funds not show prior day results in the current day value change column, but rather show zero value change until after the after market closes and the mutual fund prices have been updated for the current day (the same way the old PM treated mutual funds).

    FT.com customer service responded:

We have consulted our Product Specialist Team on your requests. We will give you an update once we receive a feedback from them.

I am trying to get into my portfolio, and I need some assistance.  I was directed here by several hours of reading about the subject.  I went to log in to my money, and was directed to an alien page I assume replaced the old portfolio.  This would be fine, if:

    A) The new replacement directly imports, automatically, all information to the same or exactly similar fields from the old manager seamlessly, and organizes them in the same fashion

    B) The old information before any changes to any part of the site, is saved in full, unchanged, and made available to each individual users of the site.

    C) The new replacement is basically a reskin with all the same functionality, but rearranged, and the option to set up exactly like the old manager with the push of a button.

Basically, I should be able to log in and I shouldn't even notice that there has been a change other than the appearance.  All information transferred without a snag, and presented. No involvement from the user other than feedback as to whether or not the change will be wanted or beneficial and a little terms and conditions check.  I, myself won't be typing anything back in to any application which cannot handle the sensitive nature of the information in the first place.    When dealing with information of any nature, consistency and continuity are very important.    The point may not matter here.  As far as I have read, there seems to be a real cavalier apathy about the whole destroying the organization of peoples lives.  And a firm lack of the realization of competition in finance organizaton applications.  No real solve here.  An actual solve for the problem would indicate actual customer service and support.

Imho, these type of casual, backwards changes are a type of time theft.  It takes time to have to reorganize all the information one has, and to painstakingly track everything in a fashion that makes sense to you as an individual.  And to have to redo all of it on the whim of a misguided group of individuals, on ones own time, no less...  My time is worth more than a negative figure.  Ask before you barge up in someones house and **** on their floor.  Not everyone enjoys the mess..
