You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

    The old PM is still not working today.  When I open the old PM I receive a message saying its not working and to click ok to refresh to see the last  known data.  However, everytime I click ok the same error message comes up again saying to click ok.

    So much for working tonight to get my data out.  I hope the classic PM is not down all weekend.  Time is running out.

    It is comforting to know it is not just my computer with this error message!  They cannot even keep it running as long as promised!  Well maybe they are overloaded with everyone scrambling to get out their information and crashed......Par for the course....what more can we expect?

    I have the same problem, and when I click on My Watchlist, I get a screen that says: "We can't show you this now. We'll get it fixed soon."

    My Portfolio Manager records were imported to 'My Watchlist', but wasn't current - it included portfolios that were removed months ago or stock positions that closed years ago. 

    I had (eventually) found these instructions and followed them - created a new Watchlist, deleted the stale ones, and went to the link to re-import the portfolios.  None of my portfolios were there!!

    The old path to moneycentral.msn.com/investor/portfolio-manager (that worked earlier this week) now denies me access.  How do I retrieve the years of information I had entered?

    It amazes me that after 300 or more responses about the new MSN WatchList, I haven't seen one positive post.  Nothing seems to work or if it does work, the data presented is wrong.  I have put all my data into a excel spreadsheet but I really liked the MSN portfolio.  Even the new Outlook for MSN e-mail is less than effective.  Why has Microsoft wrecked their website?  I can't even get the old Portfolio to open tonight.  For the first time in 15 years, I am looking for a new site for e-mail and portfolio management.  Too bad.
