Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

This is a train wreck. Please fix this oh great and powerful MicroMonster! Many of us have, (foolishly), relied on, (and liked), PM and would have made other arraignments had we not been busy dealing with Windows 8. Really guys, come on and give us customers a break for once.

needless to say the new "My Watchlist"  is not really a product but a joke and a bad one at that. Instead of restoring the PM to a operating condition, they are fumbling around in a process that was evidently not tested before it was introduced. They have not only put many people in a panic because they can no longer access their data but they have lost the trust of the people that thought their data was safe. Maybe they can clean up this mess, but there is a lot of spilled milk here.

You are right on Twelvepaws1. I am with you all the way. If Microsoft does fix that and make iy at least as good as Manager was before the change, it is good buy to Microsoft and all its creations

If you followed the Import from the old Portfolio Mgr to the new (and rudimentary and not functional) My Watchlist, then you're done. There is no going back to the old Portfolio Mgr. They didn't end it early, you simply followed the instructions to import from PM to Watchlist... and because of that, your PM access is no longer valid.

Yes, Watchlist is junk and nowhere nearly as robust as PM. Microsoft knows what's good for you and you will like it.... That's why many of us are giving Microsoft a few weeks to address the issues before we jump ship.  Good-bye MS, Bing, IE, Money Central, etc....

    Stay tuned for more.
