You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

    Dear Adriana,

I have followed the steps you outlined multiple times.  Everything migrates to the new MSN except my portfolio.  It is listed at the top of my watchlists to import, is named correctly.  I check as default and press continue.  No error messages.

    Using Windows 7

    Latest browser from Microsoft.

    Really, really need help here.

Same here.  I have Windows 7 and cannot migrate my old portfolio regardless of what I try.  Nothing works.  For this to happen without warning or thorough testing by Microsoft is disgraceful.

My old portfolio manager lists do not import. I tried everything. I can't even see the new stories for a particular stock. It goes to internet explorer.  The old system was much better. Very upset with Microsoft.
