You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

    Hi  I went Morningstar. I saw where you can enter the buys  but didn't see anything for the sells. Am I missing something or just dumb?   I was so happy with Portfolio Manager for years. I have all the buy and sell info but need some help. Thanks  Jack

    Don't use the automatic dividend thing. It's a hassle, but you should add them individually in your portfolio. Also when there are dividends and capital gains just add them together and enter tha tcombined info instead of using splits. After you enter a buy/sell to the screen you must save before moving to dividends and then after making these entries save as well before moving on. You can make as many entries in either befor saving. Morningstar is working great fo me, many views 4 with up to 35 columns available to add to any view. Far superior to even the old portfolio from Microsoft.

    Can't even find my old portfolio and watchlist.  Have tried all your ideas.  Hate the new set up. no background data, no quotes or news like we used to have. <Removed email address> This is a public community.
