Learn more about the new features in MyWatchlist by clicking here: My Watchlist: FAQ

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com  pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.

Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports

Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist

Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).

If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.

If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.

Thank you!

Dec 16th - still problems.  My classic version shows 00000000 and error messages and only

one of 5 subaccounts migrated.  10 years of information lost.  Please at least restore the

classic version.  There are too many issues with the new portfolio manager.

Yes, Classic PM has been offline 4 days.  Thanks for the heads up that we have until Dec 22nd.

It would be a nice if MSN gives us a status update.

The old PM is still not working today.  When I open the old PM I receive a message saying its not working and to click ok to refresh to see the last  known data.  However, everytime I click ok the same error message comes up again saying to click ok.

So much for working tonight to get my data out.  I hope the classic PM is not down all weekend.  Time is running out.

Looks like time has run out! Thanks for the extra twist, Microsoft!

Thanks, I didnt see "Day Change ($)" column choice.  Morningsleeper pointed it out to me yesterday.

Morningstar is very good, but I wish it would allow you to view more than one portfolio at a time.  I also wish Morningstar would provide a summary of all the portfolios.  This would enable me to know the total gain or loss of all my holdings (not just the gain or loss of each portfolio).

I have used PM for years along with Morningstar portfolio as a backup and double check; Morningstar views can be totally modified, I have "my Custom Portfolio view' which includes DAILY Gains/Loss. You just have to go to the customize my portfolio and pick the columns you want from the endless choices. Once you have the columns you want you can also drag the columns in the order you want to see.
