Adriana,
The old Portfolio Manager was offline all weekend. It would be nice to get it back online ASAP so we can retrieve our data before the December 22nd deadline. A deadline extension would also be nice.
Thanks

You may have recently imported data from the Classic MSN or my.msn.com pages to the new MSN.com Money Watchlist/Portfolio and may not have received all of your Watchlist/Portfolio data. The MSN team has resolved the issue and you can now regain access to that information by following the steps below.
Note: These steps only apply if your Watchlist has already been imported and there is data missing. If you have not already imported a Watchlist, please go to the Watchlist, sign in, and you will then be prompted to begin the import. You may need to return to this step if you find that data is missing after your first attempt to import.
Step 1: Create a new Watchlist and delete any Watchlists from previous imports
Step 2: Re-import your existing Watchlist or Portfolio data from MSN.com or my.msn.com into a new Watchlist
Step 3: Clean any erroneous data imported into your new Watchlist(s).
If you need more details about the steps, please go to this article.
If you are still having difficulties or would like to report any errors, please reply to this thread.
Thank you!

That is exactly what im looking for. I kept missing it. Now is there a way to see the total dollar gain or loss for all your Morningstar portfolios added together?
You can get around the 100/portfolio limit by having multiple portfolios (up to 25), but you have to look at each portfolio separately and Morningstar doesnt give a summary of all your portfolios (eg total gain or loss from all portfolios added together). Unless Im missing something again.
Is this why you dont like Morningstar?
Thanks for alerting me to the google finance linking option.
Your eyes are better than mine. Thanks again.
Sounds like you are looking for the column named "Day Change ($)" on the All tab.
Click "My View" when youre in the Morningstar Portfolio Manager. Then click "My View 1" and you see the Morningstar default view. Now click "Customize My View" on the far right to change columns in View 1. Morningstar provides many column choices, but "Unrealized Gain/Loss Since Purchase ($)" is their only choice they have to see the dollar gain or loss. They dont have a "Daily Gain/Loss ($)" option. I want to see how much I made or loss for the day. MSN provides this information in both the old and new PMs.
This is not an upgrade,it is a downgrade of the worst kind. Whoever wrote this program had no idea what he/she was doing and should be sent back to school
I have read all the discussions on how bad, and I agree, the watchlist is! How come there are never any answers from MSN? I really hope some smart programmer is writing a program like the old PM. I would like to know how many users PM had?!
