black screen during calling with the lumia 930

I just received the lumia 930 a few days ago. Perfect device however every time I want to make a call the screen goes black. I had a lumia 920 without this problem. Is there a solution? (without blowing the dust, restoring to factory settings or bringing the device back to the store?). This is such a devastating problem as it is almost impossible to just answer the phone. A have no protective cover etc.

Final Update.

The shop replaced my Nokia 930 with a new one.

In the shop we found out that the screen in the sensor area was wobbly. LIkely that this was the defect that triggered the proximity sensor.

So, if you have issues with proximity sensor, there is one option only... go to service.

    If you're not using any type of cover or screen protector it sounds like an issue with the proximity sensor so yes, a return is warranted here..

    Exactly the case with me.......I had some wanna be Panzerglass from China screen protector and had issues with black screen while calling. Then i read your post and in the next second i have made a call without a screen protector.....It worked! :)

    This is not a hardware issue, it's firmware. When I turn off "Double tap to wake" and restart then everything is ok. But when i turn on double tap, after few locks it's broken again.

    Edit: Sorry I was wrong, when i push on top right part of screen sensor is working. Then I will try the fix with place something between back cover and sensor.

    Go to settings then go to touchscreen , under sensitivity reduce it from high sensitivity to normal this should sort out the problem

    I've been having this issue for about a month.  In addition, when a text message comes in, I hear my notification noise but the screen stays blank.
