That bar is so annoying and ugly, especially when I'm using chrome in windows 8 mode... chaging apps is a odyssey

BTW I am sure the app bar can be disabled even if you have to tweak the code or system registry I am very sure there is a way! Now I just need to find the guy or gal that knows how, you obviously don't have a clue! they are out there somewhere!! But thanks again!! Scott

It's, actually, called "Exit Bar" and cannot be removed or disabled. In Windows 10 it is above the top edge of an APP window (not on top of the APP) nor it does not appear & disappear but, holds a fixed position.
