How to disable top bar for closing apps in windows 8.1 update 1?

That bar is so annoying and ugly, especially when I'm using chrome in windows 8 mode... chaging apps is a odyssey

    Really? This question again? So many people have asked the same question in previous pages? Do you have a really short term memory or are just too hooked to your point that you like going in cycles even if it's not leading anyone anywhere. 

    I really want to know what Drew's affiliation with Microsoft is. He only trolls this thread with weak justification for poor design decisions. This is really so simple: Let the user decide. Make this a configurable option. End of discussion!

    So congrats, everyone. You're getting trolled by someone who has zero influence on the design decisions that we're all having issues with. We're all better off tweeting at Joey Belfiore.
