Dell Venue Pro loses wireless connection after installing Windows Updates

The Dell Venue 8 Pro and Dell Venue 11 Pro lost all wireless connectivity after installing either Windows Update**KB 2887595** or**KB 2903939**.

How can I get my WiFi back?

Hi,

This issue may occur if specific Windows Updates are not installed in the proper order. Microsoft has made a change to prevent further customers from getting into this state. Customers must now have a pre-requisite update (KB 2883200) installed before being offered these updates.

To restore wireless connectivity:

1. Uninstall all of the following updates:

· KB 2887595 – Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update rollup: November 2013

· KB 2903939 – Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update rollup: December 2013

To uninstall an update, go to the Control Panel and select Programs. Then, under Programs and Features, select View installed updates. Select the updates listed above and click Uninstall. If you’re prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2. Install the updates listed below. When you run Windows Update, the updates will now automatically be installed in the proper order. You must restart the computer after you apply each update.

· Install KB 2883200.

· Install KB 2887595 and KB 2903939.

Resetting the IP stack made no difference so I've given up and wiped the device to bring it back to the factory condition. This time I set the windows updates to download automatically but not install them so I could disable the two updates that cause the issue. It's managed to pick up all the other updates fine and it's made it up to Windows 8.1 Update 1 without any further wireless issues so hopefully that's it.

Thank you but every after doing the steps for command prompt and restarting I am still getting an error

But I got the support info that may help, My internet is not limited or slowing down right now. So it cant be that, any other possible procedure that might help?
