BH-940 Purity Pro wont charge anymore.

I recently purchased the Nokia Monster Purity Pro's in Aug 13 and have been charging them acording to the recommendations from the instruction booklet. Recently as I was wearing them the voice promtpted that my battery was low. I then charged, or thought I was charging them to use again. Once completed I put them on and I got the same message again. I tried the wall outlet, and computer, both have failed to charge the headphones.

           When I plug in the headphones the led indicator goes on for about 30 seconds then switches off, not sure if that indicates anything, I know they have a 12 month warranty on them and when trying to find contact details I get brought to this discussion forum. I am assuming that they want me to use this as a first stop. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

    The first step is to know how we can disassemble the headphones to reach the battery and the 3 buttons on the left. Hovewer, there are torx screws on each side, but they can't reached because of the speakers. So let's take a look at the picture.What if we first disassemble the speakers, and then we maybe could take off the speaker's covers, and finally reach the torx screws what we need?

    I just note, the headphone in the picture is placed "inversely", so the left side is in the right, and the right side is on the left.

    Such a shame. My favourite set of headphones forever rendered useless, it's a very sad day in my household today.

    Yes. USB cable is not the problem at all!

    By the way I found some interesting pictures about a dissambled Nokia Monster Purity Pro so it seems you only need a new battery. Now the problem is where to find another similar battery for this.

    Please check these images. Now look at the battery description: P383443 520mAh 3.?v 13B17.

    Maybe we could start a group to change this battery if there is someone interested to get this product repaired.

    I'm currently at Lima, Peru and I will try to find a way to change this battery. I have noticed that P383443 is also listed as a product here. I don't know at this time if these are real specs, however I think this could be a clue to repair the product.

    Dear NJ15.

    I have exactly the same problem described by Texasguy817  when I charge this headphones it is supposed battery is charging but as soon I disconnect it from charger it can start, there is no charge on battery. Previously a friend of mine told me that this product was sold by Microsoft/Nokia from 2012  to 2014 and maybe a battery replacement could fix the issue.

    Does anybody know how to repair this product? Could somebody repair this issue by doing something?
