We have issued a fix to address most of the “mouse lag” issues associated with gaming in Windows 8.1, which vary based on the game, input methods used, etc. More details on the issue and available resolutions are available via KB 2908279, and affected customers can go to the Microsoft Download Center to install the update

2013-10-27T18:12:23+00:00 Nothing wrong with their hard or software though, it simply MS that overlooked this when implementing the new DPI framework for multi monitor setups.
Only point it could have is that instead of consumers complaining, is that then we might have (if they care enough) companies complaining.
In which case, MS might start working a little faster though ...
Considering I'm a bit of a mouse enthousiast I could send mails to a variety of companies, I have ROCCAT's, Zowie's, Razer's and Logitech's lying around.

2013-10-27T18:42:05+00:00 Microsoft will you please respond? This thread is growing daily I have gone back and forth from Windows 8 to 8.1 to thoroughly test this and it is definitely Windows 8.1 at fault.
Every single game runs perfect on Windows 8 but on Windows 8.1 only the games that have a Raw mouse option/built in run smoothly.
You built Windows 8.1 as a gaming platform and a major part of it is broken but can be easily fixed. I have games that are just sat gathering dust because I can't play them as intended.
Please issue a response !!!!!

2013-10-27T19:03:44+00:00 If your Hardware is pretty much compatible with game requirements than you have to go through some points before playing game to prevent your PC from lagging and freezing:-
- Shut down all running updates
- Remove all temporary files from your system
- You must have enough memory on disc that can support your paging memory
- Shut down all background running applications
- Run Reginout Utility for extreme gaming experience
- Update DX on your system
Could you please explain the purpose of this post? Attention users, this is a perfect example of why nothing ever gets solved. Remember when I said that they would just copy and paste what they were told? This ultimately means that our posts are not getting to the right people that can actually make a difference. Don't waste your time complaining here. I also appreciate the work that Mark C has done in the past. It's time to let it go and focus your energy on something worthwhile.
