as you can see this isnt a isolated issue and needs fixing asap. especially with many big titles just coming in the next few weeks on pc !

how can this be sent higher up so this issue is resolved ? thanks.

We have issued a fix to address most of the “mouse lag” issues associated with gaming in Windows 8.1, which vary based on the game, input methods used, etc. More details on the issue and available resolutions are available via KB 2908279, and affected customers can go to the Microsoft Download Center to install the update

I've noticed that most of the problems happen in Open GL games.

My list of games that are working fine.

    Stormrise

    Battlefield 2 Badcompany

Dark Souls Prepare to Die edition

My list of games that are not working fine.

Wolfenstein ET   AKA(Return Of Castle Wolfenstein ET)  Game is running Quake Engine and does NOT use direct input. I really don't know what it uses. But, I do know that I shouldn't be playing it because in the back of my mind I know that there is a worm called conficker-c running with that game. So maybe it's a good thing that it doesn't work for that game. oh, btw you will only find that by using snort which I recommend everyone gets if you have an interest in networking and want to know what really is on your line. Why did I mention all of this? Well, not only does Wolf ET NOT use direct input, whatever it uses will take control of your mouse at times. I would almost have to say that it's a form of aim assist, but it's forced on every player. There is no choice. So basically, while you're getting your jollies and many frags, the chances are that you're not quite as good as you think you are.

DICE BF games most likely support raw input and tend to enable it by default so it makes sense they work fine.
