as you can see this isnt a isolated issue and needs fixing asap. especially with many big titles just coming in the next few weeks on pc !

how can this be sent higher up so this issue is resolved ? thanks.

We have issued a fix to address most of the “mouse lag” issues associated with gaming in Windows 8.1, which vary based on the game, input methods used, etc. More details on the issue and available resolutions are available via KB 2908279, and affected customers can go to the Microsoft Download Center to install the update

As for doing a clean install, no thanks. WIthout a single person claiming that a clean install actually corrected this problem, I hardly think that a re-install of the OS is an adequate solution.

Actually I read a post online where someone said that they did a clean reinstall of the game. Apparently that fixed the problem. Easier to reinstall a game than the OS, IMO.

This will NOT fix the Problem.

It's really an OS problem that is NOT fixable by reinstalling OS or Game or Drivers or other things.

Not necessarily true. Reinstalling the game might change settings that make the game work-able. For example, when I turn on V-Sync, it stops the problem for Tomb Raider. V-Sync sucks so I really hope MS can fix this problem soon!

Still having this problem. Can't downgrade to Windows 8 or 7 so I'm just sitting here waiting for a fix yet Microsoft is too lazy. They're probably too busy looking at their stocks..miss the days where there was QC and Bill Gates actually ran the company.

As far as I can tell, the workaround doesn't always work.

One_Yoda pls, we already know what is causing this mouse lag, and we don't need to "investigate" that anymore. We just complain because microsoft doesn't do anything.
