There some hope, if you can access google chrome as your primary browser you can avoid Internet Explorer, which seems to be carrying the issue. I spent hours on my laptop deleting everyone of those pop up some of which were not the easy to remove. Just to find out that they came back yesterday each one located in pictures files and documents. If you are using window 8.1 and its a laptop. I would use you PC desktop if you still have on that is. Open up google chrome and try from there to get into other email accounts. Make sure you go into internet options and make sure you commonly used email account and add it as you default, while using Chrome. I still am having issues with microsoft essentials updater but I can get most of it back because I have used an external 1tb earlier before this issue. I have not gone to use it yet but if all else fails as long as you have your system updated recently and used the external drive to save your work on you should be able to access from the past off the external drive. 

Also if your updates on microsoft are up to date and so is your windows you should be able to use Chrome to get from one place to the other. I have in internet options that manage add -ons were some hackers will go to stop you make sure you have checked all of them. I found a hacker named trovia in my add ons and I was able to remove it. While your in internet options check your securities. You may have to change them to a higher security or redo the default on each of them. Good luck to you. This has been my third day trying to over come the malware. I had contacted Att whom also offers a security from Mcafee for free. ATT is sending a whole new modem to me because they could not get into mine themselves.

Microsoft technical support have solved this problem for me. I'm not sure what they did as they logged in remotely to my computer. But if you are having this problem as well it might be worth giving them a call :)

Here is the solution:

1st: Download Auto Runs.

Click Here:

Link basis: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

2nd: Find the yellow highlighted Image Paths that ends with sysmenu.dll. Usually you can locate those image paths from Scheduled Task.

3rd: Right click then delete.

4th: Try to find all yellow highlighted Image Paths that ends with sysmenu.dll from "Everything tabs, delete them.

NOTE: Carefully choose image paths that ends sysmenu.dll only, if you deleted paths that are not high lightened then it might cause some trouble booting your PC.

5th: Reboot Computer

6th: Wait at least 5 minutes to confirm that the issue has been resolved. (sysmenu.dll usually appears within a minute from rebooting the computer. )

That was a complete waste of time - I ran 'Autoruns for Windows ( I have windows 7 Pro) and it will not let me remove any references to SYSMENU.DLL  - and I cant even uncheck any boxes, and kicks me out of 'autoruns  - Ive download several programs that tell me ' yes we can get rid of this for you' then after paying these **** more money, I run their software, reboot and behold - I'm back to square one again with these error menus re appearing - and its really giving me the **** !!!

Well I finally got it fixed thanks to a gentleman from PChealth adviser who told me to do the following ...

1. Click the Start menu and, in the search box, type ‘task’.
2. Choose Task Scheduler from the program list by clicking on it or pressing enter.
3. Click on Task Scheduler Library on the left to display all scheduled tasks.
4. Locate any tasks entitled smupdate1, smupdate2, etc.– Right-click on it and choose Delete.
5. Click Yes to confirm deletion
