Windows Update Never Fixed With Error Code 80072F8F I Did All The Steps Will Not Fix HELP?

Why has no one fixed this with a new program of the windows update? Need a new one period I have done every thing every step I found on here and not fixed I do not understand codes at all so maybe just need a new one to download? This happened before a very long time ago on another computer. So I did do new install a new windows update. Fix now this has gone on way too long, my clock etc is keeping a lot of time. Help fix this I can not do no more steps did them all and never got fixed. Come on we paid a lot of money for Windows 7 Ultimate, help fix today....

I found this one to hotfix Update issue

it is the stand alone windows update but also takes a while to install the hotfix. I hope this will fix the Windows Update?

But did not fix windows update at all why?

I did not follow up on your problem as you seemed to be preoccupied with PA Bear.

Your Event Viewer report from 4 days ago suggests that the original problem may be resolved. I would need to see a later copy of your Event Viewer System log to see whether there are any remaining problems to be addressed.

The Peer Name Resolution Protocol cloud did not start because the creation of the default identity failed with error code: 0x80630801.

Solution:

Researched the problem and found the solution. A file was corrupted and deleting it got the PNRP service running. The file was recreated correctly when the PNRP service started up. Here's the file for future reference:

"C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst"

Having the same copy of Windows 7 on two computers could well cause Windows Update issues. It breaches the terms of the licence granted by Microsoft.

I suggest you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics Tool in normal mode and copy and paste the results in a reply for further analysis:

yes but am going to also do a factory reset on that laptop....but have had it on 2 computers for several years had no problems until that recently error code...so is that why???

Please let me know when everything is up to date or if you encounter any problems.

I sure will do that, have not installed all updates yet there are like 135 to install lol

well so far so good no error code...I am not sure if I should up grade to my windows 7 Ultimate from home premium yet for it seems to me it is Ultimate causing errors? Or not...What do you think should I not upgrade to my Ultimate one I own?
