I strongly desagree with you !!
- MS have to ensure a compatibility between Win 8 and Win 8.1. There is no warning about drivers compatibilities when you update Win 8 to 8.1 via Windows store. This appear like a standard update, but the result is for many people that they get big problems.
- MS has absolutly not answered to this problem which concern a lot of personns and of course not fixed.
My opinion is that MS can be blamed by its customers both for the problem and the way in which they try to (not) solve.
The ideas to solve in this thread take many time to test (days!!) and some major fails can occurs in you Win OS. The only way i find to solve safely was to install from zero Windows 8 again ! And now it is working fine but without Win 8.1
